Flattery in Congress Party

Flatterer like Kapil Sibal, Digvijay Singh, Manish Tiwari, Pranab Mukherjee, Chidambram who are more loyal to Sonia than the country have always misguided UPA government and to add fuel to fire Manmohan Singh , a brainless and totally ineffective person has even thought it wise to sit on letters and close his eyes if someone raises voice against the government, against corrupt ministers and corrupt officers.

And this is why government led by Sonia Gandhi through remote control could not assess the seriousness and gravity of Team Anna movement in the same way as Indira Gandhi was misguided by a few flatterers. During the tenure of Indira Gandhi as Prime Minister and during emergency, leaders of Congress Party who were number one flatterer and who formed caucus around Indira Gandhi used to say “Indira is India” and this is why she could not gauge the anger of common men and the quantum of pain caused by excesses of emergency.

Unfortunately Manmohan Singh who is better a teacher, an economist ,an honest personality but not at all a good administrator , a good politician and a good social reformer is still unable to understand the anger of common men who are solidly behind Team Anna and Ramdeo because people of India in general are very much fed up with rampant corruption in Indian administration as well as Indian politics.

Congress Party is still not clear in mind and assessing the situation only from vote angle of consideration and not at all from the angle common men and civil society are viewing the pain of corruption, the pain of price rise, the pain of unregulated economic policies and blind following of policy of liberalization and globalization.. Government is still trying to puncture the movement led by Anna and Ramdeo Baba and continuously trying by hook or by crook to trap and torture the participant and followers of Anna and Ramdeo and not at all trying to understand the sentiments of common men. A few flatterers have hijacked the entire UPA government despite losses to the tune of lacs of crores of rupees caused to the nation due to its corrupt ministers of UPA government

Strong act and effective enforcement of existing laws and rules against corrupt politicians and corrupt officials is completely lacking. None of the activities of Congress party leaders are indicative of good intention of Congress Party. Rather, on the contrary flatterers of Congress party have ridiculed Ramdeo Baba and Anna team members again and again and as a result The UPA government as lost credibility completely. Even in standing committee formed by Government to discuss Lokpal Bill , Manmohan Singh has chosen corrupt and hard core opponents of Jan Lokpal Bill. AM Singhwi is still telling agains and again that the bill cannot be passed in three months not to speak of deadline put forward by Anna Team. I mean to say that leaders of Congress Party are still ridiculing and teasing Team Anna.

I therefore once again request all Members of Parliament to apply their own mind , to move above party line and to come forward with clear cut opinion whether they want a strong and an effective law as envisaged in Jan Lokpal Bill or they want a dummy , dormant and ineffective Lokpal Bill introduced in Parliament by Government. It has to be made clear whether they want quick action against corrupt persons or want total inaction against evil doers and punishment to complainers, whistle blowers and all those who raise voice against corrupt system.

I am still unable to understand why government is so much hesitant to introduce Jan Lokpal Bill and discuss and debate the issue threadbare in Parliament. It is beyond my comprehension why government is so much adamant on its own version of Lokpal Bill if it is seriously concerned on cancer of corruption and it is from the core of the heart inclined to stop corruption. Why not government can shed its sentiments, dilute its ego and reconcile with the grave situation created by Anna Team it the government really believes in democracy , parliament and the will of the common men.
